The Missouri River is a tributary of the Mississippi River, and the longest river in the United States of America. The Missouri begins at the confluence of the Madison, Jefferson, and Gallatin rivers in Montana, and flows through its valley south and east into the Mississippi north of St. Louis, Missouri. At 2,540 miles in length, it drains about one-sixth of the North American continent.
Depending on the time of the year, we will fish this river anywhere from 50 miles??? South of Bismarck, ND, all the way up the the spillway under the Garrison Dam.
This river was made famous by the Lewis and Clark expeditions, starting in May of 1804 and ending in September of 1806.
I mainly target Walleye in the river, but we'll often catch sauger, trout, salmon, catfish, silver bass and many other species in the river.
